Here's my theory: Sol is the true Sith Master.
Sol, like Anakin, is attached to people. He rewatches holo's of students and promises Osha she'll never "feel like this again," referring to her loss.
Sol learns that the Witches on Brendok can use the force to create life. Sol justifies to himself that if he could claim that power, he could save/preserve life. So, he manipulates his fellow Jedi causing the Witches to be massacred then goes to get Osha/Mae.
As Mae and Osha fall from the bridge, Sol reaches out a hand. We can't see but I believe he pushed Mae clear just before grabbing Osha. Sol later sends his sith apprentice, Qimir, to Bredok to train Mae while Sol trains Osha.
How does Qimir know where Inari, Torbin and Kelnacca are? Sol told him. Why is it so clear to Vernestra that a Jedi trained Mae? Because Sol trained Qimir and POSSIBLY Mae, too (they could have traded off wearing the mask).
And who is Mae killing off? The witnesses to the massacre. Sol is tying up loose ends.
Finally, who is Sol? I think at this point, it's obvious. The Master Sith who could manipulate the midichlorians to create life... Darth Plagueis the Wise.

If it's Qimir. He is interested in Mae so he can overthrow his master together, being her master in the end.. Rule of Two! Qimir is pushing her to keep going, to do it right. I don't see him being the 'Master' that is a bigger bad and Qimir doesn't fit that. The way Mae is supposed to kill without a weapon is very Plageuis.. not using the lightsaber until his life is on the line. Same with Indara @ the beginning :) more to her as well.
I think Indara has a lot to do with the flashbacks, with her Padawan torbin. also in the current timeline.. Think Sol Felt her presence in the forest, he seemed confused because that presence in the force is supposed to be dead.

Quiri seems to be “the sith” master there’s his vast knowledge of the Jedi - also the fact that he’s helping Mae no matter what - also the fact that he knows martial arts the same as a Jedi in the way may attacking him and he was able to defend himself quickly and easily - he’s not just an apothecary guy he seems to know sith alchemy & ways to kill Jedi that Mae should have known.. Plus there’s the fact that he conveniently ran off when Mae wanted to rest & he thought she was “losing her nerve” he was pretty quick to change his mind and run off and get water and then suddenly appear behind the Jedi and Ochea 3 mins later? Also Mae asked Quiri was he sure he hasn’t seen the Siths face & he said “you know that I haven’t” but it was like he hesitated for a second before he said it there’s too many obvious hints that it’s him ! ….

Ki-Adi-Mundi 100 years later saying that the Sith have been extinct for a millenium AND then looking at Yoda and THEN he looks at Mace and THEN Mace says "yeah, no, we would have known" is ALL pointing to the downfall of the Jedi Order. It's doesn't retcon canon it MAKES canon that the Jedi are failing in their purpose and more of a show than defending the galaxy from evil. FURTHER proof of this is when Vernestra Rwoh whispers to Sol that it would "look bad" if the public found out Jedi's have been murdered. For me it doens't hurt canon it enforces it.

This show rips off Spider-Man in so many ways. You have spider-webs throughout the series, the main character lost his or her parents. They both have an Asian friend. The enemy also has a black venom like mask. And last but not least both shows contain a green goblin (Vanestrsa)

  • @tompearce5418

The Master is saying that the Jedi Order can't be destroyed by weapons, they need to be undermined as an ideal. Sidious carries this thought to fruition when he accuses the Jedi of attempting to overthrow the democratically elected government (which, ironically, they did in fact attempt to do).

Gay stuff makes a lot of people uncomfortable. Even the slightest bit. You gotta think that for the longest none of that kind of stuff was in movies. Especially not family movies or shows. It’s fairly new. And times are changing. And people don’t like change. I think it’s a culmination of a few things in Star Wars that happened before this, to the point it made a lot of people mad.
I don’t think it’s worth getting this mad about that kind of stuff. I love star war. I only care about a good story. And in that regard, it could be better imo. But all the fuss is from people who are uncomfortable with anything lgbt. Times are changing tho. They better get used to it.

This show is somewhere in the middle of those who really hate it and those who really enjoy it.
It's the writing for me. The witches and their view of the force is cool, but we weren't shown anything significant as for as their powers are concerned.
Theirs a few contradicts in the writing. And, you can't deny the changes to canon unless you're just denying it for the sake of doing so.
The creation of the twins affects the whole "chosen one" thing and the story of how Annikan came to be.
Mundi being retconned into this show doesn't add to the story of how the sith were able to return unless he himself is an agent of the darkside.
This show is supposed to be about the sith. Mundi being present now creates a major problem for his role in the PM. Other force user societies exist and are not the problem. Who else uses light sabers besides Jedi and Siths, though? So once that red light saber is introduced, the only way Mundi would have no reason to doubt a Siths return. He would have to be intentionally telling a huge lie.
The show isnt a complete disaster. But it could have definitely been written much better.

As soon as I saw the planet name Khofar, it reminded me of the Arabic word kafir. One who is kafir disbelieves in God. That person denies God's authority. I think this means that Kelnacca is now a former Jedi master. He no longer believes in Jedi tenets. He now uses the Force in ways not sanctioned by the Council and the Republic, denying their authority. He has embraced the ways of the Brendoc witches instead of the dogmatic Jedi Order, which is why we see their markings in his domicile (as soon as I heard domicile, I thought of Tech. Everybody pour one out for our boy😊😊.)

Ep4 bad writing elements (good elements below)
    They lost Basil?
    Sith are now flying?
Yord asking Osha for the gun but 2min later is "concerned" for her safety?
    Killing a bug is bad?
    Yord is no longer goofy?
Mae has a late change of heart once deep in the forest?
Oshawa has a change of heart after repeatedly saying she wasn't going to join the mission?
Jedi wookee found dead in his chair, he was totally surprised and didn't fight?
Why did it smell bad in the forest at some point, the bugs?
    Basil is a they?
